For more than 20 years, the Alhambra has been Jacksonville’s home-grown Christmas Tradition.  The tradition continues with our production of  White Christmas!

After leaving the Army after W.W.II Bob Wallace and Phil Davis team up to become a top song -and-dance act.  Davis plays matchmaker and introduces Wallace to a pair of beautiful sisters (Betty and Judy) who also have a song-and-dance act.  When Betty and Judy travel to aVermont lodge to perform a Christmas show, Wallace and Davis follow, only to find their former commander, General Waverly, is the lodge owner.  A series of romantic mix-ups ensue as the performers try to help the General.  With classic songs "White Christmas" and "Baby its cold outside"

Alhambra History Lesson
For years, season ticket holders, groups and first time customers have graced the halls of the Alhambra Theatre and Dining to experience incredible live theatre and dining experience and a Broadway style show; but how many know of the Alhambra’s illustrious history?

How many people realize that they are walking down the same halls that such extraordinary performers like Dorothy Lamour and Martha Raye once strolled through? How many people realize that Cyd Charisse once danced across the stage, and Frank Gorshin entertained thousands of people with his stand-up routine? Betty Grable performed her last live performance at the Alhambra -- and even discusses it in her autobiography.

Built in 1967, the Alhambra Theatre and Dining is one of the very few remaining dinner theatres in America. It is nationally known, and actors come from all over the country to audition. Many of our past and present performers have worked on Broadway, and have done national and international tours. Even our customers have come from as far away as Sweden to see the shows we present.

The Alhambra is a symbol of entertainment, history and to several of our customers, a place of celebration. We have helped thousands of people celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, reunions and have even helped out with a few marriage proposals.

In a way, this theatre has it’s own place in history. We are proud to make our customers part of it.
